Hur fixar jag dåligt formaterad JSON i PHP?

Jag har en egen jsonFixer()-funktion - den fungerar i två steg:att ta bort skräp (för lika inkoherent formatering) och omformatering.

Notera:detta testades inte med alla möjliga dåligt formaterade JSON-strängar men jag använder på en komplex JSON-sträng på flera nivåer och fungerar bra tills dess.
