I SQL Server, sys.dm_exec_describe_first_result_set dynamisk hanteringsfunktion returnerar metadata för den första resultatuppsättningen för en given T-SQL-sats eller -satser.
Den här funktionen använder samma algoritm som sp_describe_first_result_set systemlagrad procedur och gör ungefär samma sak.

Det tredje argumentet – @include_browse_information – anger om ytterligare nyckelkolumner och källtabellinformation returneras.

För att göra saker mer kortfattade kommer jag att ändra mitt T-SQL-uttalande så att det bara returnerar en kolumn.
Jag bör nämna att Microsofts dokumentation för sys.dm_exec_describe_first_result_set refererar bara till två värden:0 och 1 . Däremot dokumentationen för sp_describe_first_result_set anger tre värden:0 , 1 och 2 , som listas i tabellen ovan.
Dokumentationen för sys.dm_exec_describe_first_result_set anger också att den använder samma algoritm som sp_describe_first_result_set .
Jag kontrollerade också den här funktionen i både SQL Server 2017 och SQL Server 2019, och den här parametern är faktiskt en tinyint , vilket antyder att den har utformats för att acceptera mer än två värden.

Så även om jag bara angav en kolumn i T-SQL-frågan som jag skickade till proceduren, returnerade den information för fyra kolumner. Dessa är de fyra kolumner som refereras till av vAlbums visa.
Om du rullar tillräckligt långt åt sidan ser du att source_database , source_schema , source_table och source_column kolumner är inte längre NULL . Inte heller source_server kolumn. De ger information om basobjekten som efterfrågas av vyn.

Vi kan se att source_server , source_database , source_schema , source_table och source_column kolumner ger nu information om den underliggande servern, databasen, schemat, tabellen och kolumner som refereras till i vyn.
I mitt fall frågar min vy tabeller över en länkad server. Därför finns bastabellerna i en annan databas, på en annan server.

@params Argument
Hittills är det enda vi har använt @params argument för är att ställa in den till NULL .
Om SQL-batchen som du analyserar innehåller parametrar, använd @params funktion för att deklarera dessa parametrar.
Detta fungerar på samma sätt som du deklarerar parametrar när du använder sp_executesql förfarande.
